Happy Easter! I decided to make some cupcakes that I have made before and were a hit last year for Easter dinner at Uncle Dave's today...
They are just sour cream chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, simple but so cute!
I even made some babies for my little cousin, because he mostly plays with them anyway...
With the other half of the batter I baked some cupcakes in these little paper cups that I have been meaning to try out.
They are a little interesting to try to unwrap at first, and I don't think they turned out as cute as the others (I got tired of making a tons of tiny grass...) but they baked well and were still tasty!
Then I wanted to make some deviled eggs, something Grandpa used to always make at any family gathering. 
Simple but good!
All in all it was a good Easter, I was disappointed at first I couldn't go home, but it was good to see Uncle Dave and Oliver and everyone!

ReplyDeleteI've met you a couple of times at Pam Boeck's. She was telling me about your blog so I got the link from your mom. Love your cupcakes. You should seriously consider opening a cupcake shop,they are so popular right now and yours are the cutest I've seen. I had one of the lemon/raspberry ones and they taste great too!
